Giving yourself permission to be imperfect is the key to all flexibility and success. Think of the first time you tried to touch your toes while your knees were straight. You couldn’t do it. Too inflexible.
But with time, you get a millimeter closer each day. Then it’s painful. But with time, you wiggle into it. Now you go for more. You put your hands on your feet. You twist towards the ceiling. You open up your muscles. You open up your mind. But it all started with small imperfections that you conquered day by day.
